“ GLUTEN FREE MUST VISIT PLACE. Please keep this absolute gem of a chippy open. Gorgeous gluten free food. No gram flour, soy,dairy- it's allergen free batter! I ate like a king. Take out is great. Eat in is brilliant. Beautiful and spotless environment. Also the waitress followed me with my phone when I left it on the table whilst assisting my Dad. Just in case she said so thanks. Keep up the hard work ”
“ I went this Wednesday to the Atlantic, and it was lovely to be in place that I felt normal being gluten free. The GF Fishermans Basket, wow the amount of food. And the quality, tasted like a homemade fishcake, big prawn's in the scampi, lovely light fish. GF vinegar on tables, and all the staff were all lovely. “Nobody puts Baby in the corner!” As the film states, unless its a Gluten Free corner, which I loved haha (love to see more restaurants doing that) Certainly will recommend & be back for your great food ”
“ Such a cute little fish and chips! Weather was beautiful so we sat outside on the benches and the atmosphere was brilliant. Cater to gluten free people, so cheesy chips is what I had! My partner had the typical fish and chips and said his was lovely also. Will definitely come again! ”
“ Just returned home from a fantastic meal at this little gem just off the main strip in Skegness. What a find! Fantastic food and the cod and chips was so good. A table of 7 of us and we all enjoyed our food. All reasonably priced aswell. The staff were excellent and so attentive. The facilities inside were lovely and clean and loved the wallpaper showing Skegness through the years. It was so much better than the majority of same establishments in Skegness. One criticism, spread was used on the bread and butter instead of butter. That is it! This establishment on to a good thing if they keep doing what they're doing. Perfection. ”
“ We've been here 3 times now and it's added as the must goto place for us to eat if we are at Skeg. Gluten free fish and chips at it's best. However, one word of warning, bring your apatite, they do not scrimp on servings. I have the fisherman's basket which is chips, mushy peas, fish, fishcakes and scampi with a pot of tea and all for under 12. Amazing ”
“ Upon entering, they were exceptionally busy. It took less than 30 seconds for a staff member to acknowledge us and get us seated, even amongst the chaos of the other customer. Now, when I say they were busy, I strongly believe this to be based on their exceptional service and food quality! My wife ordered the gluten-free battered cod and chips, which she said was beautiful! I ordered the whole tail scampi and chips. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the scampi, It tasted fresher than most other restaurants, and the chips were perfect! The whole time, the service from the staff was exceptional. Given their situation, they handled it very professionally and efficiently. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we would 100% recommend this restaurant for anyone who is coeliac or just looking for a good rustic English sea-side meal. ”
“ The place was perfect, clean, tidy and well presented. Hand sanitizer all over when needed. Staff extremely friendly and approachable. Food portions were huge and we both struggled to eat even half the chips that was served. The fisherman's basket was great value for money. Tea was great. Few things that let us down was we were on a table of 2 and realy enjoying our meal then all of a sudden was surrounded by 6 people trying to squash on to a table at side of us that made us uncomfortable, so decided to leave. Also my wife's said her fish was cold but didn't tell me till after we left so I couldn't raise this with staff. All in all excellent service, food and value for money and will visit and recommend. There is disabled parking direct across road if you drop lucky to park for free. ”
“ The BEST in Skegness of the fish and chips that I've had whilst I've been here. Went to try it for the gluten free batter but just came away generally super impressed. Great sized piece of fish. Actually was hard for them to close the takeaway box. More importantly the fish was fully skinned, which made it a delight to eat. Chips were well cooked, and some very crispy ones. Mushy peas came as part of the overall deal making it even better value and they were also good. Not too runny. Could have been a tiny bit thicker for my taste. Lovely staff who were so friendly when I went in one evening as they were closing and I'm so glad I made the effort to come back. Don't fall for the glitz of other places and a large queue. It may not be on the main road but you'll be going in the right direction. ”
